Islamic History of Pakistan
Islam arrived in the region of modern-day Pakistan in 711 CE when Muhammad bin Qasim conquered Sindh. The Mughal Empire brought a golden era of Islamic culture and architecture including the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore.
